Some say life is not about finding yourself; rather, it’s about creating yourself.

On this website, I present to you a glimpse into my attempt at creating David Wen.  You can read about my past, my current endeavors, or my musings on life.

The picture to the left is of my sister and I.  I believe that when we’re kids, we just kind of point in a direction, and simply go for it.  We explore, experience, and entertain ourselves out of pure curiosity.  Then we point somewhere else and go there.

As we get older, we start pointing with purpose… perhaps someone else recommended a certain direction, or perhaps we see many people pointing and going in a similar direction.

Not gonna lie, I probably do the same from time to time.  Yet, I’ve always tried to keep that curious and hungry heart, taking the path less taken, knowing that no matter what I will emerge for the better.

You can be the judge of that yourself from perusing my site.  From my adventures in a reptile refuge as a child to my travels to five different continents to date, I’m am constantly creating me.  Yes… that technically means you are reading a draft of my life, but hey – I’m not charging you, so just enjoy!
